                                                                                  Zonta and UCC Team Up

Clean your closets, bag your clean unused clothing, and drop it off on February 22, as you come to the 2 p.m. UCC Women’s Basketball game! It’s a win for Zonta and Sunrise Enterprises and gives you the opportunity to cheer UCC women’s on to another win. The women are currently 23 – 1 and dominating the conference. The February 22 game will also celebrate the team’s sophomores.

Those dropping off a donation at the game will receive a ticket for free popcorn. As part of its Double Donation Drive, Zonta donates the clothing to Sunrise Enterprises who benefits by having more clothing for their retail service and achieving their goal of providing inclusion and jobs to those with disabilities. Sunrise then makes a nominal donation to Zonta who works to empower women.

So, on the 22nd bring your donation, cheer for the Riverhawks, enjoy free popcorn, plus help Zonta and Sunrise Enterprises with their missions. The clothing should be clean and lightly used. No shoes, purses or household goods can be accepted. Game admission is $5 for adults and $3 for 12 and under.

Zonta Club of Roseburg is seeking applications for their 2025 Young Women in Leadership Award.  Applications for the $1,000 YWL award are open to young women ages 16-19 and are due February 3. For an application, email ywpazonta@gmail.com
